Ten persons have been arrested by the cybercrime Unit of the criminal investigation Department of the Police Service ver an alleged creation of fake online food delivery platforms.
Police investigations revealed that the suspects had created fake websites and social media pages I personating well-known food brands such as papaya, Pizzaman, KFC, and Maworko, where victims who placed orders through these fake platforms were directed to make advances payments via mobile money, after which they never received the foods they ordered. Among the suspects are Wonder Sakpiti, Sedinam Amaglo, Godsway Dunyo, Angela Agblemekpe, Mathew Aheto, and Fafali Amoah.
There were arrested during a targeted operation conducted on October 1, 2025.
