Dr. Boachie Danquah Alleges Secret Support for Kennedy Agyapong Among Pro-Bawumia MPs

Political commentator, Dr. Boachie Danquah has made a startling revelation regarding the internal dynamics within the New Patriotic Party (NPP). According to him, a number of Members of Parliament (MPs) who have publicly declared support for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia are allegedly secretly channelling resources and logistics to support Kennedy Agyapong, one of the leading contenders within the party.
Speaking in an interview with Sir Mike on Ghana te sen Ezra FM/TV, Dr. Danquah claimed that some of these MPs have gone as far as purchasing vehicles and financing campaign activities to discreetly aid Hon Ken Agyapong’s political ambitions. He described the situation as a reflection of the divided loyalties and behind the scenes power play currently shaping the NPP’s internal politics.
Dr. Boachie Danquah emphasized that while public endorsements for Dr. Bawumia may appear strong. The real political allegiance of many MPs remains questionable, as some continue to hedge their bets between the two key figures.
He urged party members and leadership to focus on unity and transparency to prevent internal sabotage and ensure a fair, credible contest leading to the 2025 elections.
