Rev John Ntim Fordjour, Member of Parliament for Assin South, has lauded former Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare, describing him as one of the highest-performing IGPs in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.
Speaking on Dampare’s tenure, Fordjour highlighted key performance indicators (KPIs) that underscore his exceptional leadership.
“Dr. Akuffo Dampare, whatever assessment people may have of him, objectively looking in the Fourth Republic, he will come across as one of the highest-performing IGPs we’ve had,” Fordjour stated on Face to Face on Channel One TV on Tuesday.
He pointed to critical metrics such as crime rate statistics, police visibility, public perception of the police system, and the sanctity and discipline within the force as benchmarks of Dampare’s success.
