The first national poll conducted by Global InfoAnalytics since the December 2024 elections show majority of Ghanaians believe the country is headed in the right direction. According to the poll, 70% of Ghanaians believe the country is headed in the right direction compared to 22% recorded a year ago. Only 16% say the country is headed in the wrong direction compared to 68% in the same period last year.
On the performance of John Dramani Mahama so far since he assumed office as the president, 84% of
Ghanaians approve of how he is doing his job.
On standard of living, 32% of Ghanaians say it has improved, while 50% say it is unchanged while 8% say it has worsened with 10% saying they have no opinion.
78% of Ghanaian voters are optimistic that their standard of living will improve in the next 12 months. In January 2024, only 32% were optimistic. When voters were asked to indicate their level of satisfaction with the quality of appointees the president has
selected, 90% of voters say they are satisfied, with 68% indicating they are very satisfied or extremely satisfied.
When voters who have been following the work of the Appointments Committee of Parliament were asked to indicate their level of satisfaction of the work of the committee so far, 63% said they are satisfied with 28% indicating they are very satisfied or extremely satisfied. 37% of respondents are not satisfied with the work of
the committee.
