Helicopter Crash: Clerk to Parliament paid a condolence visit to the widows of the military officers who lost their lives

The Parliament of Ghana, The Rt. Hon. Speaker, represented by the Clerk to Parliament, Mr. Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror paid a condolence visit to the widows of the military officers who lost their lives in the August 6, 2025 helicopter crash. The delegation, which included Hon. Hajia Zuwera, offered words of comfort and presented cash donations to each of the bereaved families.

This gesture demonstrates the Parliament’s solidarity with the families affected by the tragic incident. The helicopter crash claimed the lives of eight individuals, including Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and Environment Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, who were on board a Ghana Air Force Z-9 helicopter.
