The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Andrews Nana Kwasi, has praised President John Dramani Mahama for appointing Dr. Frank Amoakohene as the Minister-designate for the Ashanti Region.
Chairman Nana Kwasi described Dr. Amoakohene’s appointment as excellent news for the NDC in the Ashanti Region. He expressed optimism that the party would secure more ministerial appointments from the region, given the impressive work done by local party members to ensure victory in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Nana Kwasi is confident that President Mahama will continue to appoint competent individuals from the region to fulfill the campaign promises made to the people of Asanteman.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene, who serves as the Ashanti Regional NDC Secretary, was one of ten ministerial nominees announced by President Mahama yesterday.
In his remarks to the media, Chairman Nana Kwasi congratulated Dr. Amoakohene, wished him well in his new role, and expressed confidence in his ability to deliver effectively for the region.
