NDC Decision on Ayawaso Primaries Meant to Prevent Chaos — Ras Mubarak

In an interview with Aduanaba Kofi Asante on Ezra Adekyeɛ, Ras Mubarak says the NDC’s decision on the Ayawaso primaries is intended to prevent chaos and ensure party unity.

Former Member of Parliament for the Kumbungu Constituency, Ras Mubarak, has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s decision concerning the Ayawaso primaries is aimed at preventing confusion and chaos within the party’s internal electoral process.

Speaking in an interview with Aduanaba Kofi Asante on Ezra Adekyeɛ, Ezra 94.1FM/TV, Ras Mubarak explained that the party’s action is intended to ensure order, transparency, and unity as it manages its primaries. He stressed that structured interventions are sometimes necessary to protect the integrity of internal elections.

He noted that unmanaged primary contests can lead to tension and divisions, and therefore decisive steps by party leadership help maintain stability and fairness. Ras Mubarak urged party members and supporters to support decisions that promote peace and cohesion within the NDC.
