This might be one of the jolliest news of the year, as Kwadwo Nkansah’s latest movie ‘A Country Called Ghana’ Gets nominated for this year’s Nollywood Film Festival.
The Nollywood Film Festival is an award scheme which has been enacted for Nigerian and African film makers to exhibit their unearthed movies to the world.
‘A Movie Called Ghana’ had already undergone it’s premiers at the movie cinemas in Ghana, and it proved to be a successful event.
Prior to the movie premiers, Kumawood actor, Kwadwo Nkansah explained that he had reached out to both Ghallywood and fellow Kumawood actors to star in his movie but they all declined, hence his collaboration with the veteran Nollywood actors.
According to reports, the 2024 Nollywood Film Festival in Germany (NFFG) will be held at the GOETHE university, Purple Cinema, at Frankfurt in Germany.
Actors like Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu, and Ramsey Noah starred in Kwadwo Nkansah’s movie and made it a success.
Per information circulating social media, the movie display will take place on August 3, 2024.
Most Ghanaians are quite happy about the turn of events and a lot of congratulatory messages are being meted out to the Kumawood actor and his bid to shine for Ghana.
It takes a lot of initiative to bring out something new even with the thoughts that something may wrong.
It also takes bravery to decide on going on with whatever is planned and following up with diligence.
